Abstract

This article explores the intersection between the concept of performativity from linguistics and the foundations of feminist theology, with the aim of discussing Gender Inclusive Language as a tool for promoting Gender Justice. From the perspective of Feminist Theology, the article investigates how language not only reflects, but also constructs and perpetuates power structures and gender identities within religious contexts. The study analyzes how gender performativity can be used to understand and challenge gender dynamics in theological practices, being applied in Feminist Theology to promote Gender Justice through Gender Inclusive Language in Christian communities.
