Representations of mathematics in logicomix
an analysis using the critical Cartographic Method

The text analyzes the representation of Mathematics in the comic “Logicomix: an epic journey in search of truth” based on the cartographic-critical method that highlights: the plot elements of the story, the protagonist's narrative arc, cohesion, historicity and creative context of the object . It concludes by emphasizing that Mathematics is represented as a possibility of organizing reality, a refuge against madness and belonging to the universe of men and indicating the potential for its use in the classroom.
