The aim of this article is to analyze the political influence of evangelical groups in Brazil during Jair Bolsonaro's government (2019-2022), investigating how this relationship shaped public policies, government discourses, and social mobilization. In particular, the study will focus on three main aspects: (1) the strategies used by Bolsonaro to win and maintain evangelical support; (2) the participation and impact of evangelical leaders in political positions and policy formulation; and (3) the sociopolitical consequences of this alliance, including social polarization and the effects on human rights and civil liberties.
