Abstract

The fundamental question is to find the common elements in the different doctrines and systems historically determined as expressions of faith. So, what is common in relation to the ideologies of Nazism, Zionism, and apartheid? And, if there are elements in common, how can these be linked to current expressions of faith and theology? Still, how is democracy related or linked to such ideological expressions? Wouldn't it be the case that democracy and Christian faith would be transcendent in relation to political and social particularities? From the questions, the guiding thread of the article points out that the criticism of theology is made in terms of the internal dialectic of democracy and socialism.
