Abstract

We have noticed an increase in intolerance and religious racism in Brazilian society. With the aim of promoting respect and religious diversity, the National Common Curricular Base (BNCC) of the North and Northeast states regarding religious education includes the need to develop actions for this purpose. The objective of this article is to analyze the religious reading of these documents from Afro-indigenous perspectives. We identified proposals that require the teacher to develop an appropriate didactic transposition so that forms of prejudice and discrimination can end in the Brazilian school context.
