Abstract

The dialogue presented in the Thematic Symposium 10: African Issues, African Latin American and Contemporary Challenges, at the Second International Congress of EST Colleges in São Leopoldo (RS) on September 9th was a special moment to share our reflections and to dialogue to researchers on a topic of a significant magnitude for all the african american community. Our task was to present an inventory about the history of African American thought from contributions originating of black movements that arise in the 70s, 80s and 90s of the twentieth century. The african American theological reflection will these times of meetings , studies and research a database and significant elements to support the theological production and follow up to a reflection capable of signaling new scenarios to the first years of the twenty-first century in these meetings.
