When we think about what is the Indian on the national scene, we dived in imagistic buildings reinforced by the range of concepts and images that were presented to us throughout our lives. Based on this assumption, we intend in this article to analyze the symbolic elements that refer to the image of the Indian in the Social Imaginary, in the news report "Indigenous make blockades on highways in protest against the PEC 215" displayed by RBS News, Santa Catarina, on 11 November 2015. To this end, we will guide our analytical perception in the night Image regime in imaginary general theory of Gilbert Durand (2002).
