Abstract

This paper seeks to understand the optics of domination and submission of black female bodies based on the  contributions of Bourdieu (2011, 2012),  Carneiro (1985, 2002) and Gonzalez (1982, 1984). The research process was  carried out through a documental study,  through the analysis of the Atlas of  Violence Reports produced by the  Institute for Applied Economic Research  in 2016, 2017 and 2018. The results of the research found that the power relationship that directly affects black women materializes by healing physical  and symbolic marks. In this context black  women are the ones who suffer  most from racism, from gender issues, so that their skin tone is their greatest sin, making them a target. Thus, addressing issues of gender, color and race, as well as symbolic and physical violence have never been more essential than they are now.
