The sacred incorporated in the religious dynamics of candomblé can be observed through hegemonic concepts of religion: either as a space for the administration of the sacred, of transgression of this sacred or of its ineffability. This text intends to start from these three aspects, but to establish its own dynamics that offer Candomblé an intrinsic philosophical dimension, which develops a constant exchange between the sacred and the secular. This dimension is observed through photographs by artist Tiago Quirino Troccoli at the Dois de Fevereiro party in Salvador, Bahia.
