Abstract

The present article unfolds from a methodological proposal experienced by the author during the first semester of 2019, from the aesthetic proposal of a discipline offered in a Postgraduate course in Education, at a Public University located in the South of Brazil, which aimed to contemplate the theoretical perspective of the literary and critical production of Latin American women, in particular black and indigenous women, placed in a certain way, in contrast, with the modern and basic field that makes up the westernized context in which a large part is based. from the intellectual discussions of the symbolic field and, consequently, of the knowledge hegemonically constituted in institutions for the formation of specialized professionals. On this occasion, in addition to the compelled reflection on the social structuring of Latin America and Brazil, which have always been subjugated to the alleged colonizing superiority of Western culture, the special meeting with the black writer Conceição Evaristo, led the author to realize that this exercise was able to provide him with an intense experience of reconnection and familiarity with the women who constituted his existence, unfolding then in a literary and reminiscent writing, once generated through his shared writing at the end of the text
