Abstract

The Orisha are worshiped deities in the traditions of African origin and have an important role in the maintenance of life, in the perspective of health whose vision is always full. This paper aims to bring elements that contribute to an understanding of the issue of health according to the traditions of African origin from their theological and philosophical birth of eshuneutics and systematized by afrotheology component. For that we present the traditions of African conceptually matrix, how is the reception process, interpretations about the disease and the deities associated with the reestablishment of health. At the conclusion we came to understand that life for these traditions is their primary goal.
