Abstract

The inclusion of people who are not within a standard determined by society is a topic of constant reflection in the academic environment. The search for the recognition of human dignity is a daily struggle for those who are placed on the margins of society for not having recognized their particularity, characteristic of human diversity. Therefore, the article reflects on the diversity in the midst of a society that classifies people according to their specificities. The use of “diversity” reflects human pluralism, whether for physical, ideological, religious, ethnic, social, cultural and any other issues that, in some way, reflect human diversity. For this, it is necessary to seek the naturalization of human diversity, through education, with contributions from theology and from the various areas of knowledge that reflect on the subject, for alterity, that is, for the change of mentality and action of future generations.
